Music Overview
Play music from YouTube in Discord voice channels with full queue management, DJ roles, audio effects, and playback controls.
What Nevi can do
Nevi can play music from YouTube directly in your Discord voice channels. Search for songs by name or paste a URL. Nevi joins the channel, streams audio, and manages a full playback queue so your server always has something playing.
Quick start
Getting music playing takes about five seconds:
1. Join a voice channel
Click into any voice channel in your server. Nevi needs you to be in a VC before it can join.
2. Run the play command
Type /play never gonna give you up (or any song name, or paste a YouTube URL).
3. Enjoy
Nevi joins your voice channel and starts playing. Use /skip, /pause, or /stop to control playback.
Features
Here's everything Nevi's music system offers:
Search & Play
Search YouTube by song name or paste a direct URL. Nevi finds the best match and starts playing immediately.
Queue Management
Songs are automatically queued when something is already playing. View, skip, shuffle, or clear the queue at any time.
Playback Controls
Pause, resume, seek to a timestamp, adjust volume, and see what’s currently playing with /nowplaying.
DJ Role
Restrict who can control music in your server. Assign a DJ role so only trusted users can skip, stop, or adjust settings.
Audio Effects
Apply effects like bass boost, nightcore, and more. Stack multiple effects for a custom listening experience.
Repeat & Shuffle
Loop a single track, loop the entire queue, or shuffle everything for a randomized playlist.
