Economy Overview
Overview of Nevi's per-server economy system: currency, earning, farming, shops, games, horse racing, bounties, and leaderboards.
What is the economy?
Nevi includes a per-server economy system that gives your members a reason to stay active. Every server gets its own independent economy with its own currency. Balances, items, and progress do not transfer between servers.
Members can earn currency through daily rewards, work commands, and farming. They can spend it in the server shop, gamble it in blackjack or dice, bet on horse races, place bounties on tasks, and trade directly with other users. A live leaderboard tracks the richest members in your server, encouraging friendly competition and engagement.
Key features
Daily Rewards
Members claim a daily reward every 24 hours. Consistent logins build streaks for bonus payouts.
Work & Earn
Two separate earning commands with independent cooldowns. Work for currency throughout the day.
Farming
Plant crops, wait for them to grow, and harvest for currency. Hire farmers to auto-harvest on a schedule.
Shop & Items
Browse and buy items from the server shop. Admins can configure what's available and set prices.
Blackjack & Games
Play blackjack against the dealer, answer trivia for currency, or roll dice.
Horse Racing
Pick a horse, enter live animated races, and win currency based on your horse's performance.
Bounties
Place bounties on tasks or activities. Other members complete them to claim the reward.
Leaderboards
See who's the richest in the server. Compete for the top spot on the economy leaderboard.
Stars
A global currency that works across all servers. Earn stars through daily bonuses and special activities.
Getting started
The economy system is enabled by default in every server. Members can immediately start earning currency with commands like /daily, /work, and /earn.
If you want to personalize the experience, you can customize the currency name and symbol using the /config command. For example, you might rename "coins" to "gems" or change the symbol from "$" to a custom emoji.
Quick Setup
1. Optionally set a custom currency name: /config set currencyName gems
2. Optionally set a custom symbol: /config set currencySymbol 💎
3. Tell your members to start earning with /daily and /work
Customization
Server owners have full control over the economy. You can customize how the currency looks and directly manage user balances when needed.
Currency Name
Use /config set currencyName <name> to change what the currency is called across all economy commands. Default is "coins".
Currency Symbol
Use /config set currencySymbol <symbol> to change the symbol displayed next to amounts. You can use a standard character like "$" or a Discord emoji.
Balance Management
The /economy command lets server owners set, add, or remove currency from any user's balance. This is useful for running events, correcting mistakes, or rewarding members manually. See the Currency & Balance page for full details.
