How Nevi's farming system works: plant crops, harvest for currency, manage multiple plots, hire farmers, and automate your farm.
Overview
Nevi includes a full farming system that gives you a passive income stream alongside the usual earning commands. The concept is simple: plant crops in your farm plots, wait for them to grow, then harvest them for currency.
Different crops have different growth times and values, so you can choose between quick low-value harvests or slow high-value harvests depending on your playstyle. You can also hire farmers to handle the harvesting for you automatically.
Viewing your farm
Use the /farm view command to see the current status of your farm: what's planted, how long until each crop is ready, and which plots are empty.
Usage
/farm view— view your entire farm
/farm view 2— view details for a specific plot
The farm view shows each plot's status: empty, growing (with a timer), or ready to harvest. Check your farm regularly to harvest crops as soon as they're done and replant for maximum efficiency.
Planting crops
The /farm plant command lets you plant a crop in one of your available plots. You choose from a list of crops, each with its own growth time and harvest value.
Usage
/farm plant <slot> <crop>— Choose a slot number and crop type to plant
Once planted, the crop begins its growth timer. You cannot speed up growth, so you just need to wait until it's ready. Plan ahead by planting crops that will be ready when you're available to harvest.
Harvesting
When a crop is fully grown, use the /farm harvest command to collect it and receive your currency payout.
Usage
/farm harvest
Harvests all crops that are ready across your plots. Crops that are still growing are left untouched. After harvesting, the plot becomes empty and available for replanting.
Don't let crops sit
Ready crops don't lose value over time, but every minute a plot sits with a finished crop is a minute that plot isn't growing something new. Harvest and replant as quickly as possible for the best returns.
Plots
Your farm has multiple plots where you can grow crops simultaneously. You start with a few plots and can unlock more as you progress in the economy.
Each plot operates independently. You can plant different crops in different plots with different growth times. This lets you stagger your harvests so you always have something ready to collect.
Strategy: Stagger your crops
Instead of planting the same crop in every plot, mix fast-growing and slow-growing crops. This way you have a steady stream of harvests rather than everything finishing at once and then a long wait.
Crop types
Nevi offers a variety of crops with different growth times and harvest values. The general rule is: longer growth time means higher payout.
Choosing the Right Crop
- Fast crops - Short growth time, lower value. Good if you check in frequently and want constant small payouts.
- Medium crops - Balanced growth time and value. A solid default choice for most players.
- Slow crops - Long growth time, highest value. Best if you only check your farm once or twice a day.
Run /farm plant to see the full list of available crops along with their growth times and expected payouts.
Farmers
You can hire farmers to automatically harvest your crops when they're ready. This turns farming into a fully passive income stream. You don't need to manually harvest anything.
Farmers cost currency to hire but save you from constantly checking on your crops. The cost is quickly offset by consistent harvests.
Worth the investment
If you're planting slow-growing, high-value crops, a farmer ensures you never miss a harvest window. Over time, the farmer pays for itself many times over through consistent, uninterrupted farming cycles.
Tips & automation
Use /schedule for auto-harvesting
Nevi's scheduled commands feature lets you set up automatic command execution on a timer. You can schedule /farm harvest to run at regular intervals so your crops are always collected on time.
Replant immediately after harvesting
Empty plots earn nothing. As soon as you harvest, plant a new crop right away to keep your farm running at full capacity.
Combine farming with earning commands
Farming works best as a supplement to /daily, /work, and /earn. Use all available income methods together for the fastest balance growth.
