Games
Play blackjack, trivia, and dice in Nevi's economy. Rules, strategies, and tips for each game.
Blackjack
The /blackjack command starts a game of blackjack against the dealer. Place a bet, receive your cards, and try to get as close to 21 as possible without going over.
Usage
/blackjack <amount>— Amount to wager (minimum 10)
How to Play
After placing your bet, you're dealt two cards face-up while the dealer gets one face-up and one face-down. You then choose from these actions:
- Hit - Draw another card. Risk going over 21 (bust).
- Stand - Keep your current hand. The dealer reveals their cards and plays.
- Double - Double your bet and receive exactly one more card, then automatically stand.
- Split - If your two starting cards have the same value, split them into two separate hands (each with its own bet).
Payouts
Win - You receive your bet back plus winnings (1:1 payout).
Blackjack - A natural 21 with your first two cards pays out at a higher rate.
Bust or Lose - You lose your bet entirely.
Push - If you and the dealer tie, your bet is returned.
Trivia
The /trivia command asks you a random question. Answer correctly and you earn currency. Answer incorrectly and you walk away empty-handed, but you don't lose anything.
Usage
/trivia
Nevi presents a question with multiple-choice answers. Select the correct answer within the time limit to earn your reward. Questions cover a wide range of topics.
Zero risk
Unlike blackjack and dice, trivia has no entry fee. You can only gain currency, never lose it. This makes trivia a safe way to earn extra income alongside your daily/work/earn commands.
Tips & strategy
Manage your bankroll
Never bet more than you can afford to lose. A good rule of thumb is to keep your individual bets under 10% of your total balance. This way, a losing streak won't wipe you out.
Don't bet everything on blackjack
It's tempting to go all-in when you're on a winning streak, but the house always has an edge. Set a loss limit for yourself and walk away when you hit it. You can always earn more through daily and work commands.
Trivia is free money
Since trivia has no entry cost, there's no reason not to play it whenever it's available. Even if you get answers wrong, you lose nothing. Over time, trivia adds up to a meaningful income stream with zero risk.
Know when to stand in blackjack
If your hand totals 17 or higher, standing is usually the best move. The risk of busting increases significantly above 16. If the dealer shows a weak card (2-6), they're more likely to bust, so let them take the risk instead.
